I started making this body butter before magnesium was wildly popular. It went through many stages as I learned the skill and process of creating fantastic body care products that work but are also safe and effective. My most popular product, this body butter, is made for the aches and pains of life. Whether it is from working out or from strain or injury, rubbing this luxurious butter on your skin is sure to provide great relief.

What sets my body butter apart from others?

The ingredients: Not only does my product include Magnesium Chloride, it includes a powerful essential oil blend from Hopewell Essential Oils. This company is committed to essential oil safety, education, and effectiveness. Magnesium Chloride is highly absorbable and is a very effective way to transdermally get magnesium. It has a molecular structure that penetrates the skin easier than other forms. Magnesium is wonderful for hormones, digestion, sleep, pain relief, and so much more. Magnesium is found in every cell in your body. It is necessary for your body to function! Some research has shown that it can be absorbed in the body easier through the skin than orally. The essential oil blend used includes the natural rapid pain relief DMSO which penetrates the skin and carries other oils easily with it.

The Process: I've taken courses on safely making natural skin care products. A common misconception for a lot of magnesium body butters out there is that the Magnesium Chloride brine used is an oil. It is actually not oil and mixes only with oil in a process called emulsification and requires a stabilizer. Because of this misunderstanding, many manufacturers I've seen mix the magnesium brine directly in only oil, making it susceptible to mold and bacteria. I follow strict and safe cleaning procedures and refuse to make a subpar product that is compromised with mold. I always test my preservative (an ecocert-approved preservative) to make sure I am making a safe product.

Ingredients: Water, Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Emulsifying wax nf, coconut oil, Magnesium Chloride, luconolactone (and) Sodium Benzoate*, Arnica infused in extra virgin olive oil, Pharmaceutical grade DMSO, MSM, Essential oils of birch, Cypress, Peppermint, Clove Bud, Ginger, Lemongrass, Nutmeg, Plai, Sweet Marjoram, Cajeput, and Cinnamon Bark.
